PROCESS SAFETY

Gredor Safety Program
  • Strives to identify, recognize and assess the risk of hazards associated with or inherent in the design and operation of a particular facility
  • Incorporates safety requirements into the design criteria which will eliminate or reduce the risk to an acceptable level
  • During the detailed engineering and design of the facility, a Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) is performed
  • The HAZOP Team Consisting of Members from
    • Licensor
    • Client
    • GREDOR
    • Process, Piping, Mechanical, Civil/structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, Fire fighting,

will study the hazards and risks associated with the plant on a line by line and equipment by equipment basis using the established HAZOP methodology.

The HAZOP studies will address items such aa process piping, chemicals, plant units, equipment, process controls, DCS, emergency shutdowns, operating procedures and consistency of engineering documents. As a result of the HAZOP study, a report is issued covering the critical hazards identified. The report is then delivered to Project Management for determination of the actions to be taken.
